Memphis Auto Auction raises money for COMEC Treasure Hunt!
*
For the third year in a row, workers at Memphis Auto Auction and United Auto Recovery dedicated a week to raising money for COMEC, the Commission on Missing and Exploited Children. They exceeded last year’s donation and raised $2,000 for the non-profit responsible for issuing the region’s AMBER Alert. The company designated April 13 as Chillin’ at Home Attire Day and allowed workers to wear pajamas or lounge attire to work for a donation of $10. April 16 was Hawaiian Shirt With Jeans Day, also for a $10 donation. The fundraiser ended with a cookout for a $7 donation. Employees raised $1,000 and the company matched it.
